ADMS President, Robin Grow, has released his book, Melbourne Art Deco. It examines the rise, fall and resurgence of Art Deco in Melbourne from the 1930s to the present day. Its a soft-cover book of 140pp, and is richly-illustrated with contemporary images by David Thompson and a number of other photographers, supported by archival material. [more details]

Three of Melbourne's buildings, Yule House, Century Building & Mitchell House have been recommended for inclusion on the Victorian State Heritage Register. Union Hall at Adelaide University has been provisionally listed by the South Australian Heritage Council following a major outcry against proposed demolition and 3 buildings are under threat in the re-development of Parliament Square in Hobart.[more details]
