The Percy Grainger Museum & City Fringe Tour ~ 4 March 2012

Our first event for 2012 is a special combined event. We are pleased to be able to begin with a tour of the Percy Grainger Museum. The simple Moderne style building (1935-1939) was designed by the University's architect, John Gawler, in close consultation with Grainger. This 'autobiographical' museum contains many personal articles, as well as materials relating to his musical contemporaries.

This will be followed by a tour of the buildings located between the Grainger Museum and Victoria St. Our tour will include a selection of buildings, proudly displaying the Art Deco and Moderne styles. You won't be disappointed.

Date: Sunday, 4th March 2012
Time: 1.45pm for a 2.00pm start
