ART DECO - NINTH WORLD CONGRESS ON ART DECO

9th World Congress on Art Deco^®

In April 2007, ADS will host the 9th World Congress on Art Deco^® in Melbourne, Australia.

Every two years, lovers of the Art Deco style from around the globe gather at a nominated city for four days of presentations by experts, tours of the Deco highlights around the host city, and social events.

The 2007 Congress will be held from Monday 16th April to Friday 20th April, 2007. A Welcome Event will take place on the evening of Sunday 15th April.

The nominated Congress Hotel is the Sofitel Melbourne, recently refurbished to a high standard. Daily events and presentations will be held in the auditorium (with tiered seating) in the Sofitel.

The hotel occupies levels 36 to 50, so each room has views over Melbourne. A World Congress rate of AUD$240 per night per room will apply. This rate will be available for three days either side of the Congress. Bookings are to be made directly to the hotel, using this booking form. The form can be faxed or scanned and sent as an attachment to the Sofitel Melbourne. The hotel advises that on-line booking is not available for this event. The registration cost of the Congress is AU$840. A range of Day package options is also available. On-line booking is available through Paypal. (see Paypal button in registration section below)

Pre-Congress programmes are being held in Sydney & Canberra and a post-congress programme in Auckland, New Zealand.
