Summer
2005 - Preservation News
We regularly receive requests for information about the status of one
of Melbourne's best Moderne buildings. The latest information is that
units within the complex are to be sold off in the near future. ADS has
assisted with the publicity brochure.
Winter
2002 - Preservation News
The former home of the Nicholas family has undergone another change of
ownership, and the new owners intend to provide retirement accommodation
and serviced apartments. The exterior of the main house has been repainted
and looks a treat. ADS is fully supportive of this initiative which will
hopefully secure the future of one of Australia's Moderne classic houses.
Summer

Harry Norris's famous nautical moderne residence at Sherbrooke has been
sold to a group that intends to turn it into a residential centre for
the aged.
Winter
2001 - Preservation News
Work on the redevelopment of the classic Sherbrooke house (designed by
Harry Norris) appears to have stalled.
