The conversion of the laundry to apartments continues to stop and start. Despite a marketing campaign in 2005, the conversion is not yet complete.

After a lengthy development process, the conversion to apartments within this landmark laundry building designed by Walter Mason is now complete. Autumn 2002 - Preservation News
All that remains of the classic blue laundry in Hoddle Street Richmond is the facade, and the development of the complex of residential units is now proceeding. We are looking forward to the restoration of the facade.
