Spring 2006 - Preservation News
Work has commenced on the conversion of Islanders Place, the 3-storey former boarding house located on the corner of of Wellington Parade and Garden Avenue, an Art Deco cul-de-sac, in East Melbourne.

Winter 2006 - Preservation News
The 3-storey former boarding house, Islanders Place (located on the corner of Wellington Parade and Garden Avenue), is now being converted to serviced apartments. At a recent hearing at the Victorian Civil & Administrative Tribunal (VCAT), the developer lodged a new set of plans for the buildings, a permit was issued for the development. ADS looks forward to the restoration of this important building.

Winter 2004 - Preservation News
After protracted negotiations between the East Melbourne Group and the developers, the proposal to extend a two-storey block in this enclave of interwar apartment blocks has been resolved. Some modifications to the existing block have been agreed to, but the proposed extensions will not occur.
