St Vincent Place North, Albert Park

Summer 2009 - Preservation News
Heritage Victoria has rejected an application for the removal of a house from the historic St Vincents Precinct in Albert park. Whilst the owners of the interwar house sought its removal to enable demolition, hopefully it will now be restored and modernised.

Spring 2008 - Preservation News
Although buildings listed on the Heritage Register (either individually or as part of a precinct) have the protection of the Heritage Act, owners can apply to have them removed from the Register. Application has recently been made to remove a house in St Vincent Place North, Albert Park from the listing of the St Vincents Precinct (H129), in order to demolish it and replace with a building totally out of keeping with the historica nature of the precinct.
