ADS and the National Trust have been working with the City of Darebin to preserve the stage area in the wonderful room at the Northcote Town Hall designed by Harry Norris.Agreement has been reached that the stage will be split to enable access to the hall from the stage, and the wood panelling from the front of the stage will be re-used on the sides.

The City of Darebin has a master plan for the redevelopment of the Northcote Town Hall complex, which includes a hall designed by Harry Norris. The original plan proposed that a link be provided between the rear of the stage to an exterior performance area, but the latest iteration proposes removal of the beautiful wooden stage altogether.ADS, in conjunction with the National Trust, has objected and is discussing options with the Project Manager.
