International images of Fascism in the Art Deco Era: the Italian pavilions at the World Fairs of the 1930s

The 1930s saw World’s Fairs hosted in a number of cities that were key centres of technological and design innovation, such as Chicago 1933, Paris 1937 and New York 1939.
These massive events influenced design and styling during this momentous decade and provided the pathway to the future as the world embraced technology and consumerism.
Join architectural historian and academic Flavia Marcello for a lively and entertaining presentation about how Fascist Italy presented itself in these international arenas.
