Smith Street, Collingwood(Summer 2005)
ADS has been advised by the City of Yarra that the proposed massive 200 apartment redevelopment in Smith Street, Collingwood, has been put ‘on hold’. The development would have resulted in the demolition of the original Coles Store No 1, designed by Harry Norris.
Rivoli Theatre, Camberwell Rd, Camberwell (Summer 2005)
Two major buildings are currently being considered for listing by Heritage Victoria. If successful, it indicates that they are of State significance and stringent controls are imposed under State legislation. They are the Ivanhoe Centre (originally known as the Heidelberg Town Hall) and the Rivoli Theatre, 200 Camberwell Road, Camberwell.

ADS and the National Trust have been working with the City of Darebin to preserve the stage area in the wonderful room at the Northcote Town Hall designed by Harry Norris. A landmark in the Essendon district, the Grand Hotel in Mt Alexander Rd is to be converted into apartments. The facade and front section of the existing building is to be incorporated into the development.
