The proposed re-development of Smith Street, Collingwood was “called in” by the Minister for Planning and referred to a Planning Development Panel. The PDP approved the project, subject to some “tweaking” of the plans. Completion of the project will result in the restoration of the facade of the Coles Store at 172 Smith St.

Re-modelling of the stage in the main hall at the Northcote Town Hall has been completed and the hall is now accessible from the stage. The space has been re-painted and cleared of stored furniture.
Middle Brighton Baths, The Esplanade, Middle Brighton (April 2006)
Fully-renovated and opened as a complex of restaurants and cafes in 2003. The enclosed baths and the gymnasium are still operational within the complex. The restoration of the baths provided the catalyst for the rejuvenation of the adjacent area.
Grand Hotel, Mt Alexander Rd, Essendon (April 2006)
The conversion to apartments is complete. The former hotel is now the frontispiece for an extensive residential and serviced apartment block.
Collingwood TAFE, (former Collingwood Technical College), Johnston St, Collingwood (April 2006)
The City of Yarra has approved plans for adaptive re-use of the site to a community centre. A new entrance will be constructed on the Wellington St side, and the Johnston St entrance will be retained. Council has imposed strict conditions on the works.

A permit has been issued by the City of Stonnington for the demolition of the Capitol Bakeries building and construction of a tower. The developer has until September 2008 to commence works but at present the building remains in place.
Myer Melbourne, Bourke Street and Lonsdale Street, Melbourne (April 2006)
After an extended review by Heritage Victoria, the Myer’s city emporium complex is to be recommended for inclusion on the Victorian Register of Historic Buildings.
