The Tasmanian Chapter of ADMSA was re-launched in November 2025 following strong interest generated during the Hobart Open House Festival.
Since its re-launch, the Chapter has established a vibrant and active committee that has curated a growing program of building tours, public talks, research workshops, dinners and other events celebrating Tasmania’s Art Deco and Modernism architectural heritage.
The committee has also begun developing a strategic preservation agenda focused on identifying significant buildings and advocating for their inclusion on the Tasmanian Heritage Register.
