Following a grant from Heritage Victoria, work was conducted to restore and re-paint the Pool complex. The change rooms were re-painted in original colours of green and cream. An official launch of the upgraded complex is expected soon.  

NEARLY FINISHED! In the late 90’s, ADS worked with the local community to save a moderne swimming pool in Maryborough in central Victoria. The pool was subsequently added to the State Heritage Register, and money was granted to restore the complex. Work is nearly complete.    

A few years ago, ADS and Maryborough residents, led by Lauris Weir, fought a major battle to preserve Victoria’s best Art Deco swimming pool.
